Right after A 3-hour pursuit, the Carlton was strike by a torpedo which didn't detonate. A next torpedo exploded on impact, the ship sank in 10 minutes. U-88 then strike the Daniel Morgan which had by now been attacked by German aircraft. Three men died, there have been fifty one survivors.N
